APEC CEO Summit in Singapore

The APEC CEO Summit Singapore 2009 is the premier business event for the Asia-Pacific. It will pull together the most brilliant of minds to address the current economic landscape, identify the direction of future trends and assess areas of collaboration for the Asia-Pacific region.
The theme of the APEC CEO Summit is "Rebuilding the Global Economy: Crisis and Opportunity". Outstanding and influential APEC Leaders, business figures and thought leaders will discuss and debate some of the most pertinent socio-economic and business issues facing the Asia-Pacific region today. Over 800 of the Who’s Who in global business will engage in dialogue with APEC Heads of Government.

Software Park Forum 2009 October 2009

The 3rd Asia Oceania Regional Software Park Forum 2009 will be held by Asia Oceania Regional Software Park Alliance, in association with Asian-Oceania Computing Industry Organization (ASOCIO) and Software Park Thailand, on 8-10 October 2009 in Phuket, Thailand, to take forward the collective development cooperation between alliance members within the region.

Riding on the theme, Software Park 2.0: Recession-Proof Opportunities, the event will be a regional platform for networking and coordinating, creating new opportunities and exploring effective measures to deal with current and future economic challenges.

Deputy Finance Minister Pradit opens Customs Clinic

September 2009

Deputy Finance Minister Mr. Pradit Phataraprasit, who oversees the Customs Department, together with Director-General of the Customs Department Mr. Wisut Srisuphan, officially opened the ‘Customs Clinic’ on September 7th 2009 established as part of the deputy minister’s reforms to make the Customs Department a trade facilitator, at the Customs Department’s 120th Year Building.

The Customs Clinic can be reached via three channels: telephone at 02-667 7880-4 or e-mail at customs_clinic@customs.go.th or at the Customs Department and Customs Offices in Bangkok at Bangkok Port, Laem Chabang Port, Lat Krabang, Suvarnabhumi Airport as well as other customs offices or check points from 08.30 am– 04.30 pm.
